Rigid packaging or premium packaging can be regarded as a psychological tool which transforms customer behavior by enhancing the perceived value of the product letting people know it is one worth buying.

Brands add finishing touches to make the box stand out more and look more appealing and high-end. There are different options here as well such as matte finishes, foil stamping, embossing, and textured impacts.

A brand chooses the right impact according to the impression it wants to convey. For instance if it wants to show itself as a high-end and luxury brand it can add foil stamping in gold or silver on the box.

Textured impacts make the packaging sensory and appealing allowing consumers to interact with it for longer and find out what the brand is selling. Textured impacts excite consumers and make them have a memorable unboxing experience.

Enhance brand identity

The right packaging type is able to convey a positive image of the brand and advertise it in the competitive market. People will know it exists and is a professional business selling products that should be considered.

A brand selects packaging that aligns with its values. It designs the box to increase brand identity and recognition. Consistent packaging designs are able to enhance immediate recognition.

A brand adds details that people can recognize such as a consistent brand logo and brand colors. When people see these on packaging they will know which business is selling the product.

A brand can also include other information related to the business such as its address and phone number if customers want these details. QR codes included on the packaging lead people to the company’s website where they can find out what the brand is selling and what it believes in.

Packaging has a major role to play in customer buying decisions. Strong box packaging lets people know the product has been protected and is a good-quality one that should be considered. The box draws people’s attention to the product and brand letting customers know the business is an established one in the market that is professional and has manufactured products which should be bought.
